The brave and loyal Akita dog is awaits you!

I would like to resume a pet-friendly restaurant!

 

I've found an ideal space to start with my 6th Akita dog!

 

Hello everyone! Thank you for finding the page.

Untill the end of october 2018. I had my own restaurant in Shimomaruko,Ota-ku,Tokyo for 13years.

 

It was a dining restaurant called"asian.d"where dogs were allowed to accompany their owners.

It was  barrier free and had large space for big dogs,too!

 

It was designed to be operated by 3-4 people.

But with the recent shortage of manpawer in the food industry,it was hard to retain staff.

 

For nearly two years,I had to manage and operate the restaurant mostly by myself which lead me to physical toughness.

 

Together with Hayachan the mascot dog and Basara who had

joined the team in spring 2017, I had been looking for a

perfectly sized place where I could operate alone.

 

 

On one of those days, I was hit with a tragedy.

My beloved Akita dog Hayate,who served as the mascot dog Hayachan

since the openning of the restaurant,

passed away after five months of fight against lymphatic malignancy.

He was 14years and 7 months old.

 

Being a single, Hayate mean more to me than just a pet.

I felt that I lost my life companion, I decided to close the restaurant 

in October.

 

But still in my mind I wanted to continue... 

I could not find just the right place sasily...

 

While I was preparing to close the restaurant, all of the sudden,

I came across a place where I could restart my business.

 

I do not own a house, and with my marital status and the age it is very difficult to obtain a loan. I've decided to introduce crowd funding to be used for renovating the place and obtaining equipment.

 

As part of expenses for opening the restaurant, I'd like to raise

1.3million yen.

So everyone, could you kindly give me your warm support?

Since I was three years old,I always Japan'snatural freasure Akita dogs at home. When I was 22 years old, my father suffered from brain-stem bleeding. He was hospitslized for several months for rehabilitation.

Then he became paralyzed,He had to be taken full care at home,My previous dog supported my father mentally and helped me release my nursing care stress.

 

From that time my dog became an indoor dog and was always with us. I wanted to take my father in wheelchairs my dog together to dinner. However, there were only few restaurants available for wheelchairs. For the more Akita dog is a big dog. I found no restaurant that we could enter together at that time. And I studied cooking because I wanted my gourmet father to eat delicious food.

 

For nearly 21years I took cafe of my father who became seberly handicapped after suffering from brain-stem hemorrhage.

On those days I thought it would be nice if there were places where people could dine together with their dogs of all sizes and disabled persons on wheelchairs.

Then in 2005, I gave shape to my thoughts and opened "Asian Dining & Bar  asian.d"

 

 

I devoted myself to cooking delicious food.

Evevtually my dish was featured in the famous gourmet magazine.

 

On Honda Dog web site, asian.d was selected as one of the top 8 dog friendly cafes for custom made cakes for dogs.

 

 

 

Since four years ago,Hayate hosted and charmed foreign tourists who came from Voyagin web site.

People came from overseas who were impressed by the film "Hachi" and became interested and wanted to intaract with Akita dog Hayate was a perfect host for them.  

 

 

 

◇You can enjoy events other than food and drinks while leaving the original concept. The restaurant is evolving!

 

The new name for the restaurant is"Haya chan chi".

"Haya chan chi"means "Haya chan's house" in Japanese.

 

You can still enjoy our selected items.

 

 We will resume various events while eating and drinking.

We will welcome specialists from various fields and offer attractive experiences.

When the new restaurant settles down, I'll welcome my 6th Akita dog "Hayato"

I would like to do my best to serve delicious food.

Just by there limits as well.
