I want to renovate the roof of "Okura" which is the place of the exchange of the first farmhouse guest house "Dachan farm house" in Yamagata Prefecture Asahi-cho, and continue the place of the exchange of the guests and local people!

Thank you for visiting the page. I am Kazue Shito. I am from Chiba Prefecture met a husband of an apple farmer at a group meeting organized by Asahimachi, Yamagata Prefecture. And it is 31 years in the early thing to marry this place.
 

Two years ago, we opened the Dai-Chan Farm Guest House, a long-awaited farmer's guest house, supported by local residents.
 

Based on the desire to be a place to help revitalize Asahi Town, I would like to make more use of this storehouse in the future.

 

 

However, because the building is a 180-year-old building, there is a leak and it is said to the carpenter that it is necessary to repair the roof before it snows, but the cost is insufficient. Could you lend me your strength?

 

 

 

２．Current issue

 

I used to run an English school. One such day, my eldest son came back home in the summer of my second grade high school student, saying, "I do not want to go to school." "I do not know what to study for." In the wake of that, I decided to close my English school in order to face my son seriously. I decided to help my husband's farming with my son.

 

Then, while cultivating the soil together, the son's heart was healed and a smile came back. And six years. I spent time slowly finding the meaning of my life and my dream.

 

Having realized that, I began to conduct activities with young people who have no hope or hope in the future and have no sense of their own existence.

 

 

It is name is "Dachan Farm, which makes fruit and heart."

 

By cultivating the soil together with the young people and cultivating delicious fruit, they are able to cultivate the mind and support themself to be able to return to society with confidence.

３．This storehouse is such a place

The guest house has been open for two years. So far, more than 500 guests have come.
 

A 180-year-old warehouse built on the site.

This storehouse was once used as a place to make sake by the ancestors of our Sito family, who have a shop name of "Sake shop".
 

After that, it has been passed through with the times, such as the storehouse and the kayako hut, which have been passed through the seasons.

 

 

This place called “Okura” with attachment is still welcoming guests with local apple juice, local cuisine experiences of Asahicho such as Akebishi cuisine, Soba, Miso, Tsubaki making, We use it as a community space where you can experience Japanese culture such as tea ceremony, flower arrangement and dressing.
 

In addition, in the hands-on classes held here, people living in Asahi-town are active as teachers. It also serves as a hub for interaction between guests and the region where teachers and guests in the area with a wisdom bag interact and smiles.

 

 

 

４．How to use your future storehouse

In particular, regarding roofs, leaks have already occurred, and it is told by carpenters that it is necessary to repair the roofs before it snows, but because the cost is high, we would like to borrow your help. I would like to leave the next generation, as a place where such a good old "connected spirit" of Japan can be exhibited, linking people to people, which is a storehouse that has been carefully inherited from my ancestors.
