地球温暖化も原因/ Global warming gas problems(J/E)

香川県水産試験場の方に色々とお話を伺いました。
アサリがいなくなってしまったのは、直島だけの問題ではなく瀬戸内海全域にもとどまらず、全国的に減少しているそうです。公害問題だと思っていたのが、実は元々インド洋や紅海など熱帯から亜熱帯に生息するナルトビエイが温暖化の影響で日本中に生息できるようになり、二枚貝を積極的に捕食することが大きな原因のようです。古くは重金属を含む船底塗料が大きな原因となって、壊滅的な打撃を受けてしまったアサリがさらにこのナルトビエイに捕食されるようになった結果、まったくアサリがいなくなってしまったのではないかとのことです。

I heard a lot of story from the Kagawa pref. fisheries experiment laboratory. 
The short-necked clam has disappeared not only at Naoshima and the Inland Sea of Setouchi but almost all over Japan. 


One of the reason why the short-necked clam decreased is of course the pollution, and plus longheaded eagle ray from Indian Ocean and Red Sea originally live in tropical zone, can live around Japan's ocean actually is influence of global warming. 

The ship paint including a heavy metal was the big reason in the old days, and more short-necked clam which have received a destroying blow came to be preyed on by this longheaded eagle ray,  maybe that a short-necked clam has completely disappeared.


 

う～む、ならばアサリの種苗を放流するしかないんじゃないの？
海の家で潮干狩りができるようにしよう。放流後は、料金をいただいて潮干狩りを楽しんでもらい、その料金でまた種苗を放流する。これを繰り返していくうちに島全域にアサリが戻ってくるかもしれない。アサリは元々チヌなどの魚に捕食はされていたのだから、公害で生態系のバランスが崩れてしまったのでしょう。ナルトビエイが日本に入ってきたのも温暖化ガスの影響であり、環境保全を真剣に考えないと色んなところで不具合が起こってきます。

Now, then if we'd like to increase the short neck clams, there are no choice but seeds are discharged.
We'll be able to do gathering shellfish at low tide at a beach house. The admission fee would be used to stock the clam seeds every year. While repeating this, a short-necked clam may return to the island whole field.

Although snapper and sea bream prey on bivalve by nature, short-necked clam could survive. An ecosystem has lost its balance by pollution and additionally it's also influence of global warming gas that longheaded eagle ray came into Japan, and when environment protection isn't considered seriously, a defect is happening at various places.
