先日お伝えした通り、今年のISC66は新しい方針で最後まで全力で取り組んでまいります！😊

ご協力よろしくお願い致します！！

 

さて、本日もISC66の実行委員の思いを届ける"OUR THOUGHTS"企画！！を行っていきたいと思います！

 

第9回目はISC66Table4のテーブルチーフを務める、Ayu Puspita Ningrumです！！

 

I am Ayu Puspita Ningrum, a third-year public administration student at Universitas Airlangga. I am from Jakarta, Indonesia, although presently living in Surabaya to pursue my undergraduate studies. My table is concerning information security in the aspect of data privacy, particularly in relation to the endorsement of open data. The idea behind my table topic is that even though open data offers enormous favorable results and massive development, our data should not be at risk in order for that to happen. This is for the reason that our data, either being handled by the private or public stakeholders, is always vulnerable to inappropriate use of data, even from the first stage when our data was initially collected. I believe that creating a balancing mechanism where our data is open and secure should be the foremost importance as a part of the youth, and this is what my table wishes to achieve.

 

 

My first involvement with ISC was when I participated in the ISC65, notably in Table 6 which is concerning marine plastic pollution across the nations. I was so delighted when I read the email notification that informed I successfully passed as one of the participants! Days before the announcement, I was feeling bump-out because I thought I did not do well during my interview. I felt that I did not converse my ideas and thoughts well enough, and this also happened during my interview as the table chief for ISC66! Therefore, words cannot describe how delighted I am knowing that I was chosen as a participant in the ISC65 and (now as) a table chief in the ISC66. I was also so happy because that was my first time to visit Japan and it was a huge adventurous exposure for me. The first time I arrived in the country, I was so mesmerized with the service and the beauty that reside within the people. Thus, I am so excited to attend the ISC66 this year and I truly hope that our contribution in the conference does not only benefit those who are present, but all of us in the world.
