Please help Sanbutsuji Temple repair pilgrimage routes to the national treasure Nageiredo at Mt. Mitoku

Nageiredo is a sacred temple built into a small cave on a cliff face of Mount Mitoku. It is one of the most popular and most important tourism spots in Tottori prefecture. It was constructed more than 1,000 years ago and because of its unique structure and historic value, Nageiredo is registered as a national treasure of Japan.
The path leading up to Nageiredo is Shugendo (mountain asceticism) and it requires some challenging climbing of tree roots and mountain paths to reach it.

Big cracks emerged in the mountain rocks after the great earthquake in Tottori on October 21st, 2016

Now climbing up the mountain is totally prohibited. According to the experts, it will take some years and millions of dollars to fix all the cracks. It's a very difficult and unfortunate situation.

We will build a detour so that people can still climb the mountain to appreciate the magnificent view of Nageiredo.

The start of mountain climbing season is just around the corner. We have no time to waste. The construction of the detour is scheduled from April 8 to 18th. We cannot turn back. We need your support.

After the earthquake, we have received so many heartwarming messages from around the world. We really appreciate your thoughts and we are determined to stand strong to recover from the natural disaster.

国宝三徳山投入堂参拝登山道の修復にご協力下さい

投入堂は三徳山の断崖絶壁の小さな窪みに建てられたお堂で、鳥取県で最も有名で重要な観光地の一つです。今から1000年以上前に建てられたとされており、その独特な構造や歴史的価値から国宝に認定されています。投入堂へと続く参拝登山道は修行の場所であり、木の根や岩をよじ登る等、場所によっては険しい箇所もあります。

10月21日の地震で岩盤に大きなひび割れが生じました

現在登山道へは立ち入り禁止となっています。専門家によるとこのひび割れの修繕には長い期間と億を超える費用が必要だということです。これは非常に厳しく、残念な状況です。

別ルートを通路として設定し投入堂参拝を可能にします.

登山シーズンはもうそこまで来ています。もう時間がありません。別ルート設置の工事は
4月8日から18日に予定されています。もう後戻りはできません。あなたの支援が必要です。
