To everyone who has always supported Nekomaru Cafe, and to those who are learning about us for the first time,

 

Nekomaru Cafe opened as a cat cafe in Ueno, Tokyo, in 2009. Since 2010, we have also been working to connect rescue cats with new families, and over 500 cats have found loving homes so far.

However, we now face challenges in continuing and expanding our activities due to rising costs, decreased sales during and after the coronavirus pandemic, and an increasing number of rescue requests. The reality of not being able to extend a helping hand to lives we should save is heartbreaking.

Please help us protect the lives of the cats and connect as many of them as possible with new families for a happy future.
