Finally,

 

Everyday I ask myself if the thing we do is wasteful or not. I think of the project for what and who? mamy times per day. Now, I devote my full attention to the project. I have a chronic illness.

 

I had an operation and went into hospital the year before last. At that time, I was really taken care of by hospital staffs and patients in the same room including doctors.

 

However, I got better little by little after the operation and began to think that I had nothing to be scared of more than the operation because I overcame it. I got to frequent my favorite concerts and got more new friends.

 

It is precious for me to share a good time with everyone. Citizens and medical workers in Kanagawa prefecture really help me in my life.

 

This year, I wanted to return the favor to my home town. So, I entered an entrepreneur's circle in my home town at the end of last year and I began to focus on KIC activities as one of the community staffs to support people in need even at my own pace.

 

The situation of COVID-19 got worse little by little. In this March, almost all my appointments were cancelled. I spent more time at home. When I realized it, masks and hand sanitizers were sold out and couldn't buy them.

 

I heard from the person who works at the hospital which accepts COVID-19 patients that masks run short.

 

Medical workers work at the risk of thier lives. Of course, they have a family as well. I have a heartrending feeling on their situation. I can't do professional medcial support. But can't I give masks to medical fields, can I? So, I began to work on it.

 

I could finally reach a dealer who can sell medical surgical masks by various connections and introductions from my acquaintances and could keep a stock of 16,000 masks.

 

I really want to give masks to medical workers who fight against invisible enemy at the risk of their lives in the frontline medical scene. So, I called governments, related institutions, and organizations directly. Also, I asked my friends who work at a hospital and nursing facility.

 

I apologize that it is difficult for me to make a professional judgement where to give masks accordingly by understanding how many masks run short in which medical institution because I am not the specialist.

 

However, I could happen to meet the dealer who can sell masks somehow by the cooperation of various people. What I, a common citizen can do is managing to purchase those masks and donate them to a public organization in Kanagawa prefecture which can distribute them properly.

 

I don't know honestly how useful this project is for society. Even that, I want to be for medical workers as much as possible.

 

Now, everyone avoids going out and withstands the difficult situation in each place. I believe no matter how far apart we are, our heart will be together. Medical workers have a family, friends, too.

 

I imagine that they put up with meeting their loved persons... Above all, medical workers fulfill their duties in their risky working spots. I want to cheer up such a brave people and convey my feelings to them.

 

I hope to convey my feelings to the people who see the project. I take responsibility for implementing the project.
