Due to the torrential rains in August of this year, the water level of the Doshi River, which runs through Sagamihara City in Kanagawa Prefecture, rose and many campsites along the river were severely damaged.

We at Noro Lodge had all of our camping sites washed away.

In fact, Noro Lodge was in the midst of restoration work after being severely damaged by Typhoon No. 19, which caused major damage in eastern Japan the year before last. With the help of many volunteers and many messages of support, we were on the verge of rebuilding when this damage occurred.

Because we have been supported by many fans, we would like to revive Noro Lodge and let many people enjoy camping again. We want people to use this environment to the fullest. With this in mind, all of us at Noro Lodge have decided to go ahead with the revival.

However, simply restoring the facilities as before would mean that we would have to repeat the process of damage and restoration ...... every time we are hit by a torrential rain disaster in the future.

Therefore, we decided to revive the lodge as a new Noro Lodge, which will be prepared for future disasters.

The original camp site will be able to withstand future flooding.
We will strengthen the bungalows and other facilities by utilizing trailers to minimize damage to the facilities.
Above all, to create a system that can withstand disasters with our staff and friends.

We would like to be reborn stronger while taking advantage of the good qualities of the campsite we have.

When I talked to people from other campgrounds that were affected by the disaster, they were all worried about what to do in the event of a disaster that might come in the future. That is why I hope that we, whose damage was not insignificant, will be able to create a strong new model for campgrounds and bring hope to other campgrounds that are struggling to recover.


Our goal is to create a campground that will not be defeated by future flood damage.

今年2021年8月の豪雨で、神奈川県相模原市を流れる道志川の水位が高まったことにより、川沿いに佇む多くのキャンプ場が甚大な被害を負いました。

私たち野呂ロッジも、キャンプができるサイトがすべて流されてしまいました。

実は、野呂ロッジは一昨年東日本で大きな被害をもたらした台風19号でも大きな被害を受け、復旧作業をしている最中でした。多くのボランティアさんによるお手伝いや、数々の応援メッセージもあり、なんとか再建の目処がついた矢先の今回の被害。

今まで多くのファンに支えられ続けてきたからこそ、また野呂ロッジを復活させ、多くの人たちにキャンプを楽しんでもらいたい。この環境を思い切りご利用してもらいたい。そんな気持ちを胸に、スタッフ一同心は揺るがず復活に向けて進んでいくことを決意しました。

とはいえ、ただこれまでの通りに復旧するだけでは、今後豪雨災害に見舞われるたびに、被害に遭っては復旧して……の繰り返し。

そこで、今後の災害にも備えた新しい野呂ロッジとして復活を目指すことにしました。

元々のキャンプサイトは今後の増水にも耐えられるように。
トレーラーを活かしたバンガローなどを強化し、施設の被害を最小限に抑えられるように。
何より、スタッフ、そして仲間とともに、災害にも負けない体制を作れるように。

今あるキャンプ場の良さを活かしながら、強く生まれ変わりたいと思います。

被災した他のキャンプ場の方々にも話を聞くと「今後も来るかもしれない災害にどうしようか」と、みんな悩んでいます。だからこそ、被害は決して小さくなかった私たちが強く新しいキャンプ場のモデルを作っていくことで、復旧に悩む他のキャンプ場に希望を届けることができればと思っています。

今後の水害にも負けないキャンプ場を目指して。
