お陰様で目標額達成も近づき、大変前向きな気持ちでおります。ラストスパート、頑張ります！

 

This project has only 8 days left. 
Thanks to your help, we are close to reaching our goal and are feeling very positive. We will try our best until the end!

 

本日は、グロービスアフリカ部の勉強会で本プロジェクトについてお話しして以来、ずっとご協力くださっている寺嶋様より、応援メッセージをいただきました。

 

Today, we received a message from Mr. Terashima, who has been providing us with cooperation ever since we talked about this project at the GLOBIS Africa Club study session.

私は10年ほど前にブルキナファソの隣国ベナン共和国におりました。
当時のベナンにも小学校に通いたくても通えない子どもたちが沢山いました。通える子どもたちも、早朝家の手伝いをしてから片道2時間かけて通い、昼食もまともに食べられず、休憩時間は少しでも体を休ませるために机に向かって寝ている子どもたち。
それでも目を輝かせて学ぶ姿に、日本で何不自由なく学校に通えることの有り難さを感じました。
今回のLompoさんの取り組みを知り、ベナンを思い出し、感銘を受けました。
このプロジェクトが世界に与えるインパクトは決して大きくないかもしれません。しかしLompoさんの取り組みが、これからのブルキナファソ、ひいてはアフリカ、世界中の子どもの明るい未来に繋がると私は信じてます！
一緒に良い世の中にしていきましょう！

 

About 10 years ago, I was in the Republic of Benin, a neighboring country of Burkina Faso.
At that time, there were many children in Benin who wanted to go to elementary school but could not. Even those who were able to go to school had to spend two hours each way after helping out at home early in the morning, could not eat lunch properly, and slept at their desks during breaks to rest their bodies as much as possible.
Even in that situation, their eyes were shining as they studied, and I felt grateful to be able to go to school without any inconvenience in Japan.
When I learned about Lompo's efforts, I was reminded of Benin and was impressed.
The impact of this project on the world may not be huge. However, I believe that Lompo's efforts will lead to a bright future for children in Burkina Faso, Africa, and the world!
Let's make a better world together!
