皆様、Empower African Girls!を応援頂きまして誠にありがとうございます。
お陰様でブルキナファソ現地活動の準備が順調に進んでおります。
本日は中間報告として、進捗のご報告をさせて頂きます。

Preparations for local activities in Burkina Faso are proceeding smoothly thanks to you all.
Today we would like to report on progress as an interim report.

 

・皆様からお預かりしているご支援金について
ご支援金総額：1,383,000円
Readyfor手数料：182,556円
お預かり金額：1,200,444円
※Readyforからの入金日：2021年4月9日

 

上記お預かり金額（1,200,444円）について、齋藤が一度日本の銀行口座でお預かりした後、WorldRemitという海外送金アプリを利用してLompoに全額送金致しました。

 

・ The support we received from you

Saito once received the above amount (1,200,444 yen) with a Japanese bank account, and then transferred the whole amount to Lompo using the overseas remittance application called WorldRemit.

 

・現地活動準備状況
ご支援金を適切に女子教育に充てるための現地活動準備を進めております。
Lompoは本活動を行う活動主体としてNGO団体EdukGirlsを設立するため、設立登記手続き中です。
申請書類は提出が済み、現在正式な受理を待っていますが、活動は開始できる状態となっております。

具体的な活動状況と致しましては、助成金の対象候補である国内避難民に対し、アンケートを通じて調査活動を行っています。
ブルキナファソ東部で最も人口の多い国内避難民キャンプ（注１）を訪問し、支援が必要な女の子に関する生活状況などのデータを収集しています。本調査は、Fada N’GourmaとDiapagaのIDPセンター（注２）の協力を得て、EdukGirlsが設計しています。約100名の女の子を対象に本調査を行い、適切な助成先の判断や、生活状況改善のための理解に繋げています。

注１：Fada N’Gourma、Diapagaという地域の国内避難民が含まれる
注２：IDP（Internally Displaced People）は国内避難民を指し、IDPセンターでは国内避難民へ滞在場所の紹介等の支援を行なっている

 

・Progress of preparation for local activities
Lompo is preparing for local activities to properly allocate the support money to girls' education.
He is in the process of registering the establishment of EdukGirls, an NGO, as the main body of the activities.
The application documents have been submitted and are currently awaiting official acceptance, but we are ready for starting the activities.

As for the specific activities, he is conducting a survey for internally displaced people, the main target of the support, through questionnaires.
He visits the most populous internally displaced people camps*1 in eastern Burkina Faso to collect data such as living conditions for girls who need support. This study is designed by EdukGirls in collaboration with the IDP Centers *2 in Fada N'Gourma and in Diapaga. The survey is going to be conducted on about 100 girls, which leads to the judgment of appropriate recipients and understanding for improving living conditions.

*1: Includes internally displaced people in the areas of Fada N'Gourma and Diapaga
*2: IDP signifies Internally Displaced People and the IDP Center helps the internally displaced people by introducing where to live to them.

EdukGirlsの団体名のもとプロジェクトウェブサイトが開設されております。現在どなたでもウェブサイトを訪れることができるようになっており、活動状況のアップデートがあり次第ご確認いただけるようになっています。
同時にプロジェクトFacebookページも開設しており、上記プロジェクトウェブサイトに載っているFacebookアイコンからもご覧いただけます。

The project website has been set up under the name of EdukGirls. Anyone can now visit the website, and you will see the status of the activities when there is any update.
