【11ヶ国から11人が集まった南三陸でのちょっと感動的な話】
"A Touching Moment at Minami-Sanriku Where 11 People from 11 Countries Gathered to Learn about Tohoku"

今日、震災5日後から南三陸で活動を始めたOGAというNGOのアメリカ人代表のお話を聞き、意見交換をさせていただきました。南三陸さんさん商店街で昼食を済ませてから、南三陸のゆるキャラオクトパス君を作った入谷YES工房を見学し、南三陸町周辺をバスで周り、現地の人に語り部をやっていただきました。

On the 1st day of our trip here, we met the representative of OGA, an NGO that started their activities in Tohoku just 5 days after the disaster. We learnt a lot about the situations back then, the current situation, their activities and the ongoing problems. It was a great experience listening to her stories and exchanging our viewpoints. After lunch at a temporary shopping street, we visited Iriya YES Kobo, a workshop that created a local character for Minami-Sanriku, and went around the area with a local guide.

夕食後、みんなでセミナールームで集まり、入谷工房さんにわざわざ国の札と国旗を印刷していただき、入谷公民館長の阿部さんが考えた「多国籍の集まり」（タコ食う席）というギャグで写真撮影！（笑）

After lunch, we gathered at the seminar room as our host Abe-san printed out tags and flags of our respective countries, and we had a photography session.

最後に、日中韓の代表たちで仲良く写真を撮ったときに、阿部さんが感動してまさかの涙を流しました。

When our representatives from China, Taiwan and Korea got together for a friendly photo, Abe-san started tearing, saying he never thought he'd live to see such a day.

世界中の人が南三陸で集まってくれたことにとても感謝しているし、感動したとのことです。

Abe-san also said he was touched to see so many people from different countries coming together at Minami-Sanriku.

11ヶ国から11人が行く南三陸スタディーツアーの1日目が無事終了しました。
