プロジェクトが公開されました (Introduction)

なかなか書類の準備が進まず、治療を開始してから1か月半以上経過してしまいましたが、

どうにかプロジェクトの公開までたどり着くことができました。

 

初めまして。飼い主の福冨です。

約2か月程プロジェクトを公開予定ですので、最後までどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

 

まずは優ちゃんの治療方針と現状についてご説明したいと思います。

 

プロジェクト本文にも記載の通り、UW25という約半年間にわたる抗がん剤治療を行っております。

7月6日に1回目の抗がん剤治療を行い、そこから毎週抗がん剤を打つ予定でした。

7月27日には1クール(4回の抗がん剤投与なので4週間)終わる予定だったのですが、抗がん剤の副作用の免疫抑制が強すぎて、

毎回想定以上に白血球が少なくなってしまい、実質2週間に1回の投与となっています。

そのため8月17日にようやく1クール目(4回)が完了しました。

 

8月17日の診察では来週の検査次第ですが、腫瘍も触ってもほとんど分からないくらい小さくなったとのことで、

寛解していると思うと先生からコメントいただきました。

ただリンパ腫は再発の可能性が非常に高い病気なので、半年間抗がん剤治療を最後まで行うことが、

再発の可能性を低くするポイントだと言われているので予定通り12月末頃まで行います。

 

ただ優ちゃんの抗がん剤への副作用の反応を考えると、

予定通りの量/スケジュールで投与していくのか、

先生としてもまだ迷っているみたいです。

 

今週末また病院で検査のみ予定があるので、また進捗があり次第ご報告させていただきますね。

 

It took lots of time to prepare the document for this fund raising but we’re finally able to made public this project.

 

Before I introduce our project, let me introduce ourself.

My name is Yuriko, 32 years old and the owner of 4 years old female corgi, Yu-chan.

 

We have started preparing this fund raising since Yu-chan have diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma on June 29.

We told by the vets that her life expectancy is 1 ~ 2 months if she won’t do anything.

So we started the chemotherapy.

 

The chemotherapy protocol is called CHOP (UW25).

It takes 6 months to finish this protocol and we started the chemotherapy on July 6.

Yu-chan has to do chemo every Saturday for the first 2 months but the side effect is too strong so technically she is doing chemo once every two weeks.

 

We finished the first 4 weeks of the chemo on August 17.

That day, the vets told us that looks like her lymphoma is in remission.

But we are going to do the chemo at least 5 more months to avoid recurrence.

 

The chemotherapy is very expensive (expected JPY 1,300,000 ~ 1,400,000) and I also need to support my little brother’s tuition fee…

It is embarrassing for me but we need your help to receive the treatments.
