Greeting-On why I wanted to start this project

Good morning, everyone.

 

My name is Emi Takasaki, General Manager.

I'd like to share with you my thoughts on launching this project.

I would appreciate it if you could read it when you are free.

Last year, I suffered a serious illness.

I went to see a town doctor because I was not feeling well. I was taken by ambulance to the university hospital.

On the same day, I had an emergency surgery due to severe pain.

When I woke up, I found a thick tube stuck in my stomach.

Rehabilitation started with a thick tube stuck in my stomach.

It was really hard at that time, so I watched DVDs of my favorite theater company to cheer myself up.

At the time, I was working in the medical field and thought that medicine was the only tool to recover from illness, but during the rehabilitation, I realized that "theater also has the power to recover from illness. But during my rehabilitation, I realized that theater could have the power to help me recover.

There are so many people involved in one play, and it is filled with messages that everyone has thought about.

Around that time, I heard from a friend of mine who is a performer that the people around him who are involved in theater, including his friends, are suffering from the Corona disaster and are unable to make a living.

It was very painful for me to hear that people who were involved in the theater I loved were leaving that world in droves.

Is there anything I can do?

I want to give back to the theater and the people who create the world of theater, who have always been there for me during difficult times.

This thought was the episode that led me to start my current business.

Tapping my phone to watch a play.

And at the end, everyone involved in the play will clap and connect with each other.

With this in mind, I created Virtual Theatre.

This time, we are raising a large sum of money, 400,000 yen, through crowdfunding.

The return price is not cheap either.

I am well aware that your lives are also suffering due to the effects of the Corona disaster.

However, if you can sympathize with my thoughts and ideas, even just a little, would you please help me?

All the money we are asking for will be used for development costs.

If we get more than 400,000 yen, we will use it to expand the functions.
