DAY35：Brain Won't Listen to Me 33人が保存／脳みそが言うこと聞かへん

クラファンの挑戦から35日目を迎えました！

さて、今日は私みきが過去に投稿したもので

33人の方が保存してくださったものを紹介します。

 

 

 

自閉スペクトラム症というと

 

こだわりが強い

 

見通しが立たないのが怖い

 

フラッシュバック

 

常同行動など

 

 

いろんな特徴が

 

挙げられると思うのですが

 

 

 

脳内がいそがしすぎて

 

タイムリーに反応できない時とか

 

大変そうだなって思うんですよね。

 

 

 

 

【東田直樹さんの言葉】

『僕は、壊れたロボットを

操縦しているみたい。』って

初めて読んだ時、苦しくなりました。

 

同時に、その本によって知ることができて

感謝の気持ちが溢れました。

次男を見ていても・・

 

・リアルタイムに反応したいのに反応できない

 

・こだわりが勝って、制御できない

 

・見え方が違う

（目を見なさい！はツライ）

 

・感覚過敏　  ・フラッシュバック

 

　などなど、

 

世間の標準に合わせると

 

ツライことが多いんです。

 

 

 

【フラッシュバックについて】

 

思い出す、というと

 

過去の記憶から引っ張り出すような

イメージだけど、

 

次男を見ていたら、

 

記憶が【降ってきた】って感じがします。

 

 

 

 

だから、聞いてないようで聞いていて

 

後で、1時間前の話題について

 

返事をしてくれたり

 

説明をしてくれたりすることも

 

あるんだなと納得したんですよね。

 

 

 

小さい頃は、

 

『無視せんとって』って

 

言われることもあって

（そう思う気持ちも理解できる）

 

『今ね、頭の中でおしゃべりしてて

すぐにお返事できないことあるけど

ごめんね〜』って

 

代弁してました。

結論）

 

自閉スペクトラム症を持つ子の脳内はとっても忙しい

記憶のイメージが順不同　

 

時系列に、動画のように格納されておらず、こま切れのイメージが順不同にワサーッと入っているイメージ。

 

→だから、

1年前のことをたった今起きたことのように、フラッシュバックするなどが起きるんですね。

 

 

こういう知識があるかないかで、対応は変わってくるし

無理解からくる二次障害を最小限に抑えることができるんじゃないかなと思っています。

 

 

だからこそ、すべての大人が知っていて損はないし

子どもも知っていた方が良いと思います。

 

今後の活動の中で、こういった要素も入れながら

当事者の兄で、かつ作業療法士である長男にも協力を仰ぎつつ

セミナー等できたらいいなと思っています。

（栄養学・認知行動・発達にとても詳しいので、頼りにしています。）

When I think of my second son on the autism spectrum ...

 

He is

 

—very particular about what he wants to do

 

—having some flashbacks

 

—doing same behavior over and over, etc.

 

 

When the brain is too busy to react in a timely manner, I understand it must be very difficult.

 

 

 

In the words of Naoki Higashida.

“I feel like I'm piloting a broken robot. “

 

When I read it for the first time, I was distressed.

 

At the same time, I was filled with gratitude as I got to understand him more.

(My second son's behavior became very clear to me.)

I see my second son...

 

He wants to react in real time, but he can't.

 

He is particular about his daily routine and it’s important for him.

 

He sees things differently.

（difficult for him to make eye contact )

 

Sensory sensitivity

Flashbacks,   etc,

 

 

 

When I say “recall,”

I think of it as pulling out a memory from the past,

 

But looking at my second son,

looks as if a memory is “falling” on him.

 

So, it seems as if he is not listening, but actually he is listening.

 

Later, he would reply to me about what we talked about like an hour ago.

 

He would reply to me and sometimes he would give me an explanation...

 

 

 

 

When he was little,

he was sometimes told by other children, “Don't ignore me.”

（I can understand why they thought that.)

 

“He’s talking in his head right now, so sometimes he can't respond right away.

I'm sorry."

I was explaining to them.

 

 

 

(Conclusion)

 

The brain of a child  with autism is very busy.

・Memory images are not in order.　

・The images in his brain are not stored in chronological order like a movie, but are fragmented images in random order.

 

→That's why,

flashbacks to things that happened a year ago occur, as if they just happened now.

 

 

Knowledge of this kind of thing will change the way we deal with the situation.

I think it is possible to minimize secondary disorders caused by lack of understanding.

 

 

That's why it's good for all adults to know.

I think children should know too.

 

We will include these elements in our future activities.

I would like to hold seminars and other activities with the help of my elder son, who is an occupational therapist and the brother of the boy on the spectrum involved.

(He is very knowledgeable in nutrition, cognitive behavior, and development, so I am counting on him.)
