NZ5日目です！ DAY5 in NZ

 

ニュージーランドからこんにちは！

ニュージーランドに到着してから5日目を迎えています。

 

クラファンをさせていただいたからこそ繋いでくださったご縁で、素敵な女性に滞在先での名所案内をしていただきました。

 

みきの次男も、よく頑張ってます。

 

初めての食べ物、初めて出会う人たち、初めての経験・乗り物・・・etc

 

今回、寿里ちゃんの娘さんや息子さんが旅を共にしてくれているのですが、

彼らはナチュラルにフラットに接してくれていて、心の壁を感じないので、次男がとてもリラックスできています。本当にありがたいです。

 

 

昨日は、もう一つの学校見学をさせていただいた後、寿里ちゃんの娘さんのホストファミリーが、私や次男まで招いてくださって、とっても温かい時間を過ごさせていただきました。

 

次男にはとても刺激が多い日々なので、パニックに陥る前に、本人が私にSOSを出してくれたので、先においとましたい理由をお伝えすると、とても理解してくださって、自閉スペクトラムとは何かのみならず、自閉スペクトラムの特性からの苦しさ、その親の葛藤や悩みなどに寄り添った言葉掛けをしてくださり、昨日は思わず号泣してしまいました。

 

 

温かい出会いに感謝しています。

 

 

特筆すべきは、いろんなイレギュラーが発生したにも関わらず、次男に「また来たいと思う？」と尋ねたら、即答でYESでした。 とても驚いたし感動しました。

 

そう思わせてもらえる環境・出会いに感謝しかありません。

 

そして、このクラファンにチャレンジさせていただいて、多くの方がサポートしてくださったからこそ、今、この感情を味合わせて頂けています。

↑昨日、次男と2人で散歩がてらモーニングしてきました。それができたこと、行きたいと思ってくれたことに感動してます。

（My second son and I went to the cafe close to our accommodation yesterday morning. It was a good challenge for him)

 

 

 

Hello from New Zealand!

 

It's been five days since we arrived in New Zealand.

 

Thanks to the connections we made through crowdfunding, a wonderful woman showed us around the sights of our destination.

 

Miki's second son is also doing well.

 

New foods, new people, new experiences, new modes of transportation...etc.

 

This time, Juri’s daughter and son are traveling with us,

and they interact with my second boy naturally and openly, so my second son feels very relaxed.

It’s truly appreciated.

 

 

Yesterday, after another school visit, Juri’s daughter’s host family kindly invited not only Juri and her children but also me and my second son over, and we had a very warm and welcoming time.

 

These days are very stimulating for my second son, so before he gets in a panic, he reached out to me for help. When I explained the reason my boy and I wanted to leave early, they understood completely.

They understood not only what autism spectrum disorder is but also the difficulties stemming from its characteristics, as well as the struggles and concerns of the parents.

Yesterday, I couldn't help but cry a lot because of their warm words.

 

I am deeply grateful for this warm encounter.

 

 

After experiencing a lot of irregularities, I asked my younger son, “Do you want to come back here again?” then he immediately answered, “Yes.”   It was so impressive.

 

I can only express gratitude for the environment and encounters that made him feel that way.

 

And it’s because of this crowdfunding campaign and the support of many people that I’m able to experience these emotions today.
