NAMO Chiang Mai lost the studio in old city last August and rebuilding again to rise from ashes! NAMO is one of the oldest yoga studio in Chiang Mai and it was a community space for health and wellness loved by people from all over the world.

 

Last year we had a 10 years anniversary and freshly renovated the old studio, renew the tenant rental contract for next 3 years. After everythig is ready, the landload came to take photos and he sold within a week without any notification. He used trick for paperworks, so we had to lose immediately without any discussions. It is Thailand law didn't protect us enough, you know what I mean if you know about Thailand. 

 

I am Maiko the director of NAMO. Once I felt it is time to move on and I was ready to stop, but I realized that thai staffs who worked 10 years together, teachers and students they encourage me to stay on the ground. 

 

After thinking and searching location for couple of month, I found a location. It is probably 3times smaller than previous studio. I had no budget to do more than that from loss of business and cancellation for 6months of bookings.
